He walks around as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, and we are not match for him. The devil's best work will be done in the closest relationships of our everyday life: our family and our vocation. But he is overcome as we put off the old, put on the new; as the peace of God rules our hearts in thanksgiving; and as the word of Christ dwells in us richly in all wisdom. This way of blessing and spiritual prosperity is open to all the people of God.
