There is no truth more crucial to our worldview than the doctrine of total depravity. As J. C. Ryle put it, "There are few errors and false doctrines of which the beginning may not be traced to unsound views about the corruption of human nature." This message answers a number of questions such as, "What does total depravity mean?" "Does total depravity mean man has no conscience?" "Is every man as bad as he can be?" "Is every action of the unsaved man motivated by selfishness?" "If we are all totally depraved, why is the world not in worse shape than it is?" This sermon was well-received when presented on the church's radio broadcast, "Words of Liberty."

Excellent Message! Love your example of the dogs & the cows to explain what's common to our nature. Your message has given me a better understanding of things. Thanks!

A MUST Listen Sermon!! An outstanding message dear brother. Man's depravity and God's unmerited favour to lost sinners. My family and I was throughly gripped by the content of this sermon and the passion to which it was preached. Just a wonderful and extremely powerful sermon for all to listen to and take heed. A must listen message for the believer in Christ and the unbeliever outside of Christ.

AWESOME MESSAGE!!! An awesome message about the depravity of man, how undeserving of God's grace we are as human beings, and also howgracious and mysterious God is. Listening to this message along with "God's Sovereignty vs. Man's Responsibility" and "Election" just really make you understand how powerful God is and it shold make any true beliecver fall to their knees and examine thermselves. God bless you Russ!!!

Biblical answer to the most important assumption.. This sermon is an outstanding look at what the Bible says about this topic - worth a listen for both Christians and non-Christians alike. Besides true, Biblical Christianity, ALL other world religions assume people are basically good, and that something exteral has corrupted them, and offer a way to get rid of that corruption. But this is just an assumption, it isn't true... facing reality is what separates (true) Christianity from other religions.

Vital Message Thank you, Rev Sukhia, for your exposition of this vital and bedrock doctrine which causes us "to flee to Christ for mercy."
Dear SA surfer, have you been told that God loves you just as you are, that perhaps ticking a box in a card in a church pew constitutes "making a decision for Christ" and therefore salvation for you? If so. please hear this vital message.

Great Sermon! FINALLY! A pastor who tells us the unvarnished truth about ourselves – just like the Bible. In my years I’ve heard too many pastors (for whatever their reasons) preach diluted gospels from their pulpits…unwilling to acknowledge the biblical truth about mankind’s total depravity and consequently unable to demonstrate the common need all of us have for a Saviour.
Today, it may not be politically correct to boldly preach the true gospel of the Bible but thankfully - and by God’s grace - there are still faithful pastors out there preaching the whole counsel of God.
If you’re edified by messages from the likes of Donald Grey Barnhouse and James Montgomery Boice, then I believe you’ll also be edified from Pastor Sukhia’s messages.
