God is going to bring salvation through the one perfect Man Jesus. Everyone else is very flawed. Everybody else needs a savior. Children are a gift from the Lord, they are not a right or an entitlement. Isaac waited 20 years to have a child. God knows what He is up to and He knows what He is doing. Everyone does not have the same personality. There are somethings that God commands while others are cultural or personal. However, we should not feel that we are better than others because they are not like us. Neither should we feel that we are not as good as others because we are different. We are likely to make the same mistake as Esau if we feel that we must have what we want right now. Esau exaggerated his problem because he felt that he just had to have what he wanted. Jacob, instead of just giving his brother some stew, attacked his brother's weakness by deceiving him. Despite Jacob's sins, God used him anyway, just as He uses sinful people today.
