Why do so many believers claim Philippians 4:13 & 19, yet it doesn’t seem to “work” for them? It is because they fail to continue learning the secret of supply. Our God will supply but there is a process. We must keep the supply lines open, or we may miss the flow God wants to send our way. If we want a flood we have to open the floodgates. First we will look at the Supplier, with that being God, of course, and we will look at the storehouse and the supply lines.
The Person – My God
The Promise – will supply
The Provision – every need of yours
The Pool – according to his riches
The Place – in glory
The Process – in Christ Jesus
Why can Paul know God will supply? It is because he had been supplied, and he gives us the secrets of the supply lines here. We keep the supply line open, and we receive the need.
Supply means praise (vs.1-5) Praise is the supply line for joy.
Supply means prayer (vs. 6-7) Prayer is the supply line for peace.
Supply means practice (vs.8) Practice is the supply line for presence.
Supply means perseverance (vs.10-13) Perseverance is the supply line for power.
Supply means providing (vs.14-18) Providing is the supply line for faith.
Sometimes it may feel as if we are down for the count, but we must ever remember that even when we fall, He has risen, and even if and when we die, we too, will rise again. In the light of that, no matter what, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, knowing that our God, my God will supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. That is the secret of supply. It is time to learn it.
