Jesus is qualified to be Savior. Here in Mark, Jesus is baptised by John the Baptist at the town of Nazareth. Baptism for a sinless Savior. Necessary to fulfill the law and for righteousness-to keep the law. Anointed- heaven opened up and the Holy Spirit anointed Him and the Father declared he was His Son. Confirmed- Father tells of His love for Jesus, he delights in Him. These things show that Jesus is Qualified. Prepared The Spirit moved Him to the Wilderness and He was tempted by Satan. He is tempted for 40 days and does not sin.
