Blessed Sermon! I have read and re-read Philemon; I've listened to many sermons on it: but never before has the Spirit of God begun to speak into my soul as Harry A. Ironside began to read it prior to the Sermon. Immediately I knew the comparison of Paul's love and grace towards Onesimus and our LORD's love and grace towards me. (Charge that to my account) rang in my soul. Oh, what blessed hope we have! What joy to know that Christ Jesus truly stands in our place, He was condemned in order that I might be delivered. Brought from darkness into His glorious light. The joy of Dr Ironside saying that Philemon would choose to put a once wicked servant into the room where Paul would usually be given. I'm reminded of John 14:3b "...that where I am, there ye may be also." Thanks for sharing it with all who will listen. May they be blessed even as I have been.

Great acceptance. This message touched my heart, especially the part where it speaks about Philemon asked to receive Onesimus as Paul. Christ presents us to the Father and we are accepted in the Beloved!

Amazing Sermon!!! Fellow listeners, this sermon was a HUGE blessing! I have admired H.A. Ironside for years in his writings and now I was truly blessed to hear this man's voice preaching! Too many preachers preach in black and white. If you want to learn how to preach in color, listen to this sermon!
Ironside was one of the greatest Bible teachers the world has ever known. For some 50 years he went up and down America teaching and preaching the Word of God. He was the ultimate in his field. Coupled with this was his successful ministry as pastor of Moody Church from 1930 to...
