Tony, along with Pastor Geoff Kirkland and others, engaged in evangelism on the campus of St. Louis Community College--Meremac. After Tony and Pastor Geoff open-air preached, the two were spent the next few hours surrounded by students, many of them very angry, trying to reason with young adults whose hatred of God was expressed through their words and actions. While surrounded by 30 or more students, Tony was engaged by Calvin, a campus leader for CRU (formerly, Campus Crusade for Christ). Calvin showed the same level of disdain for Tony and the public proclamation of the gospel as the angry students surrounding him.
