We are exhorted to contend earnestly for the faith because there are certain men who creep into the church unoticed bringing unsound doctrine with them. They ulitmately use grace as a license to sin. We must also contend because of unbelief, rebellion, and immorality that if not dealt with Biblically in our midst will certainly lead to judgment. Two examples are given as warnings. One is of the fallen angels, and the other the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Let us heed the warning and live like judgment and hell are real, because they are!
