1) Salvation is a matter of inheritance-that is how God has taught it.
2) The inheritance of salvation is all things salvation (election, justication, sanctification/Holiness, redemption, adoption, possessing the Holy Spirit etc).
3) This was the question posed by the daughters of Zelophehad whose father had died in the wilderness without any sons.
4) How does the inheritance of the father who dies without sons get distributed and what happens to the daughters when they receive such an inheritance? Do they get married to any other men or what do they do exactly? The text and the message emphatically and clearly answers the question.
5) I hear many confessions and creeds say-one is justified by grace-but are sanctified by the Law. Now, this teaching from Numbers 27 and 36 debunks that to be false.
6) One remains married ONLY to the tribe of their father. And that to say the believer remains married only to Christ, but never to Christ plus the Law.
7) This is some clear gospel teaching for those who have ears to hear. By the standards of our day-Moses would also be labeled as an ANTINOMINIAN (ANTI-LAW) because He spoke clearly on the matter of the sufficiency of Christ alone.

Great Sermon! This is not a sermon you want to just skim through without putting your thinking cap on. It shows that our inheritance comes through faith in the Holy and "Best" man Jesus Christ and we can't go back and forth to Moses for our sanctification. Only one "tribe" and only one "Man" can give us both sanctification and justification, Jesus Christ from the "tribe" of Judah and not from Levi. The Law is sin.
