We finish this series on the Ascension by looking to the return of Christ. We will see that His return (his glorious appearing) doesn't refer to him being far away for a while and then coming back, but rather, to his appearing to us, unveiled. We will see Him, in the flesh, in His glory. There will be a sifting; a resurrection to life for some, and to judgement for others.
For those who are in Christ, His return is not something to fear. Rather, we wait in eager anticipation and with great and sure hope, together with the rest of creation for our adoption as sons; for salvation belongs to our God.
