God created Man in his own image to rule over the Creation with wisdom and love. God created the woman in the image of the Man to make his dominion over the Creation fruitful and fulfilling. Nothing in all of creation could replace the woman as a companion for the man. The beginning of the mature phase of a Man's life is when he takes the wife of his youth and becomes the leader of his covenant family. His first loyalty is to his coheir and no longer his parents. The most important voice in his life now is his wife's. They will now strive together and expand the kingdom of God together until death temporarily separates them. The Man will provide for and protect the family, the wife will nurture and support the family. The Devil's goal is to turn the blessing of a covenant union into a curse. By creating warfare between the man and woman he could separate and destroy them. Modern demographic trends poignantly illustrate ignoring Gods law brings death. Without heeding the Gospel of Jesus Christ there will never be peace between the sexes.
