Why do people who take a position on one issue usually adopt predictable positions on other issues? Do you know what a grab bag worldview is? A person's worldview ultimately dictates what they will believe. People will not agree on these issues until they agree on their worldview positions. This explains why debates over issues never cease and why any argument, even the absurd, may be used to defend an indefensible position. The significance of changing a person's worldview is much greater than changing their position on issues. Changing one's worldview is about changing who they recognize as the authority behind every decision. This shift from what to believe to who to believe is profound repentance. The neglect of teaching apologetics in churches has resulted in a crack in the Christian armor. Until we are aligned with our Creator's worldview, we will be broken.
