God has freely welcomed all those who trust in Christ into His family as sons and daughters, and as sons and daughters, we are set free from the law and its condemnation and are heirs of all the blessings of salvation by faith alone in Christ. But the temptation for us today, just like it was for the Galatians 2000 years ago, is to slip back into to a works-based obedience to the law instead of walking in the freedom of our sonship in Christ, so my prayer is that God would use this passage to show us the immense grace and freedom we have because of what Jesus did for us, that we receive by faith alone apart from any work on our part.
