There are, more or less, 25 exhortations here in Paul's list. Most of them deal with relationships. Some with your enemies, some with your friends; specifically your church family. ALL of them are instructions for men and women who have placed their lives on God's altar. This is the "Give God Everything" lifestyle! I have been calling these women and men the Surrendered Community - i.e. the church. WE are the surrendered community because we are those who through faith in Jesus have placed our life on the altar of God. This morning, let's consider three more spheres of surrendered living. First, surrendered responses in verse 14. Second, surrendered differences in verses 15 and 16. And last, surrendered retaliations in verses 17-21.
