God does not save repentant sinners so they can go to heaven when they die. Heaven is not the objective. God saves repentant sinners, and then indwells them with his Holy Spirit, so they will learn to be conformed to the righteousness of Jesus Christ in every thought, word, and deed, now in the present moment. Complete conformity to Christ will not be fully realized until the rapture. And then, we will go and sin no more.
