Thus, he lived in fear of death and the shadow of his fathers, including Nebuchadnezzar. He could not live up to expectations; yet, neither did he repent and turn to God. Parents as sinners raise sinful children and bear responsibility for their outcomes when they do not turn them to God's salvation.
