Continuing in our study of Paul's defense of his ministry, and seeing a model of our christian ministry, we are confronted with the call to proclaim Truth to confront the conscience and the active work of Satan to blind the unbelieving. We find that man is in a hopeless state apart from the work of God to speak light into our darkness and bring about the salvation of a lost soul. This is the heart of the gospel and a dominant theme of the Protestant Reformation which we celebrated on this Reformation Sunday service.
