All men die. You are dying. I am dying. But Jesus Christ is resurrected from the dead & has triumphed over death. In this sermon, we examine the nature of life & see it in the light of God's work of creation. The essence of life is the unified oneness that God established in creation. Then we consider the nature of death: the severance of the all the unities that God had created. Man, in death, is separated from God, from himself, from the women, from the earth. God graciously salvages fallen man, but death still threatens us as our greatest enemy. Our victory is accomplished by Christ through His death & resurrection. The risen Christ now summons you to join yourself to Him by faith & He will give you eternal life as the resurrected Lord. Death does not have to conquer you. Christ will be your life - now & forever.
