It's the last Sunday of October, also known as "Reformation Sunday." It's a time when we celebrate the onset of the Reformation, or "Reformation Day," which was birthed on October 31st, 1517, the day Martin Luther nailed his Ninety-five Theses on the door of the All Saints' Church in Wittenberg. Coincidentally, the events of the Reformation lend themselves wonderfully to our continuing "A Theology of Forgiveness" series.
This week we'll be exploring part one of "The 'When' Question of Forgiveness." While this sermon is in part Reformation history lesson it first and foremost is all about understanding "when" God forgives us. Can we purchase our salvation in the form of indulgences? Is God's forgiveness conditional, or unconditional? Will there be anyone in heaven who never repented of his or her sins? Join us for these answers and more!
