Great Sermon! This is a great message indeed.
PRAYER is the issue of the day. Nothing else. There needs to be no long discussions about headlines in the news. Prayer for God to raise up a godly generation that seeks His kingdom rule.
PRAY according to Psalm 115. Our God who sits enthroned will answer and he will hear. PRAY according to Jeremiah 9:21 For death is come up into our windows, [and] is entered into our palaces, to cut off the children from without, [and] the young men from the streets.
Women who have given birth have dreams of that child bringing honor to them. How much more does God feel about the issues facing us today?
Who wants to see their child living in the realms of death; seeking the pleasures of this wicked world?
We are being entertained by headline news that distract us from calling out to our God who is holy; our God who ordained prayer; our God who promised that His word would establish His will. Pray in this manner ... Mat. 6. He did not tell us to discuss issues to the extent we have thus far.
HE TOLD US TO PRAY - Our Father ... thy WILL be done on earth.

Great Sermon! What's wrong with Washington, DC. What's wrong with our cities, churches, homes????
Pray that God's kingdom will come and according to Psalm 115
Unite in prayer for God to raise up a man after His will. Pray like Daniel for 21 days.
Focus on His will for man. Stop posting things that take our minds away from His will.
,
PRAY PSALM 115, PRAY, PRAY, PRAY for God's will.
Forget about all these other issues for a time.

Great Sermon! This sermon was very well expressed
and no one will have any excuses because the scriptures are clear on this subject.....Father Yahweh will not change his Word," his Word will change us if we surrender to it.
Thank you for the Truth,

Great Sermon! The Federal DADT policy came about directly as a result of homosexual activism. HIV/AIDS was brought into the general population by male homosexuals, even contaminating the Red Cross blood supply, because homosexuals historically lie about their diseases in order to pursue their lusts. Also, though the incidence of infidelity is much higher with male homosexuals than with female, homosexuals of either sex have a very high propensity to multiple partners, even at the same time. The very first male homosexual couple "married" in Massachusetts bragged to the press about their sexually-open marriage. We can readily see that a homosexual "marital"
relationship must necessarily be lust-motivated, because natural children will never occur. Scripturally, we know it's impossible for a homosexual couple of either sex to physically consummate a marriage in order that two may become one in a God-honoring manner according to His creation. In addition to lying to others in order to pursue their sexual lusts, they also deceive themselves about being Christians. I really don't understand how only 1% to 2% of the population can get so much press, especially in light of their propensity to pedophilia, and with an expected life span of half that of a heterosexual! What's gay about this?

Wise answers: the Best strategy Thacker's BEST point is exposing the GROSS assault on biology practices by sodomites. These practices are so gross that a rational person doesn't want to think about them.Without getting gross, Thacker points this out:Jerry delivers material on abstinence as the most effective method of stopping the spread of HIV/AIDS: once a society knows what sodomites DO, they will WANT to abstain from: not celebrate, sodomy.
Thacker (doesn't go by `Rev') is a consultant, researcher, writer, &teacher.
His book, "When AIDS Comes Home," tells how he and his family have dealt with HIV/AIDS as a result of a blood transfusion given to his wife in 1984.What is killing him got into the public blood supply from perverted unhealthy practices.
The Public Health defense that Dr. Paul Cameron's www.familyresearchinst.org recommends is upheld by Thaker's personal experience: He makes excellent low key points: take notes!

Well meant It's encouraging that Rev Thacker wants to dispel gay myths.
- He's right that depression *is* common among gays -- it's common among any hated or suppressed population, in fact. "Homosexuality is a beneficial lifestyle" -- This is one I've never heard. I've heard "gays are just anyone else." But a 42 year life expectancy? Thacker probably shouldn't be blamed for buying into the infamous Paul Cameron's poor research, here (as well as the disproven "trauma causes homosexuality" theory).
- "Sexual orientation is genetic (i.e. inborn)". He denied this, but oddly also said, "all people are born (i.e. genetically) straight." I don't get it?
- I've heard the "Homosexuals need special rights" myth before from pastors, but I've never seen a special rights law?
He condemns gays because gay sex involves the exchange of bodily sexual fluids ... but doesn't straight sex do that, too?
His "gay rights agenda", too, is probably well meant. But as near as I can find, gays didn't come up with DADT -- which causes more, not fewer, military expellations. Gays do not want to repeal age of consent any more than Focus on the Family does. And gays don't want to remove laws on the number of people in a marriage. They want equal rights.
Rev Thacker is trying very hard to do the right thing, and if what he said were accurate, his conclusions would be pretty sound. But he may not realize that claiming family must be "a father, mother, and the children they produce" invalidates all widows and adopted children in the world.

Softspoken Wisdom/Insight by AIDS sufferer Brother Jerry Thacker's points of 'mythology' cut to the core to the issue. Delivered without histrionics, but clearly calling for us to see that SIN is SIN, and that people LOVINGLY & Kindly need to share the gospel to people caught up in a "deathstyle" apopted
out of a desperate attempt to fill empty lives. Christians need to accept NO special rights for these people who are HURT, lost, and in need of the Gospel. Thacker's best point? The spread of acceptance would be stopped if the church most worked against acceptance by a focus on the DISGUSTING aspects of what these people actually do.
The Public Health issue is the best tack.
This is also the stragegy of
www.familyresearchinst.org 's Dr. Paul Cameron.
