This means that all who have come claiming that they can lead men to God and to Heaven by some means other than faith in Christ, have been thieves and robbers. Jesus is well aware that such an exclusive statement means that the Pharisees, Saducees, Herodians, who came as self-styled leaders of God's people were wolves who could not lead anyone to God, but it also means that EVERY other false system of religion cannot lead men home to heaven. There are many errors, but only one truth, many broad ways that lead to destruction but only ONE NARROW DOOR that leads to eternal life - JESUS CHRIST.
