The Protestant Reformation in the sixteenth century spread across Europe to most of its countries. Most of know of Martin Luther, Melancthon, Calvin and others but not much is known of Matthew Devay, John Cordatus, John Henkel and Pastor Nicolai who was burned at the stake in August 24, 1527 after being first stabbed for the heresy of having "refused the Virgin Mary her due honor." This message tries to supply some of our want of information on this important work of God for His Church.
