From the Lord comes wisdom, knowledge and understanding. As those who have been raised with Christ we are not to seek these things from the world, nor practise the ways of the world, for we have died with Christ and our life is now hidden with Christ in God. Instead, as holy and beloved children of God, we are called to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, doing everything in the name of the Lord. Without the full assurance of Christ in us, the hope of glory, these statements can come across as legalistic and burdensome - but with the full assurance we have received in Christ, they are words of absolute liberty and love. Pray that we might receive them as such.
