The seeming interminableness of the 2008 Presidential Election Campaign is no excuse for anyone to not exercise their God-given, Constitutional right to vote! For after all, as the great 18th Century British statesman Edmund Burke once said, 'All that is needed for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.' And even more importantly, in Matthew 5:13-15 our Lord Jesus said to His disciples, 'You are the salt of the earth .... You are the light of the world.' Therefore, if anyone needs to be acting as a preserving salt and shining light in this rapidly decaying and increasingly darkening world, it is the Christian, the follower of Jesus Christ! Consequently, as we turn to the study of our text as recorded in Proverbs 14:34, we find two very pointed and practical principles which we must personally apply in answer to the Question: How Should We Vote?
