It is wise to appreciate correction. It is only in Christ that we become who God called us to be. Not all Israel is Israel. If we are in Christ, our identity is no longer in gender, ethnicity, race, etc. The basis of our inheritance is in Jesus Christ. If we are trusting in Jesus, we have been set apart and not slaves to sin. The Galatians had inherited the greatest Love of all. They did not understand it and were convinced to be slaves in trying to earn God’s love. If we are in Christ, we are all full heirs in Christ Jesus to the promise. Trading sonship for slavery would be foolish. God can use our illness, suffering, sickness, etc. to reach others with the gospel. It is a fact that God still heals today, though some phony people claim they have a healing ministry and do not. Even though God used Paul to heal others, Paul, at times, would suffer from illness. We are no longer slaves to sin, and we have a choice not to sin if we are children of God.
