I too have left the GES theology which has ignored the Person and Work of our Lord and Savior. If we need not know who Christ is or What He has done than why did he waste His own blood when He wouldn't even waste loaves of bread or fish? No one will enter heaven unless they know that they are a sinner in need of a Savior and that that Savior is God Himself and his blood covered all of our sins. Jesus does guarantee eternal life to those who believe in Him but there are many Jesus' who walk the Earth that cannot save you. Only the one who died on the cross for our sins as stated by the Gospel can provide salvation. That is why without knowing the person and work of Christ it is impossible for anyone to know the way to Salvation! You may put your faith in a Jesus who cannot save you.
