No one is saved by their good works, and all of us have sinned against a perfect and holy God. Once we have sinned, we cannot fix our lives. Jesus said we must be born again. Jesus is the only way to salvation. Even though Martin Luther had sins and imperfections, God still used Him to swing the door wide open to the reformation. Our purpose in celebrating the Reformation is to celebrate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
