The current turmoil we're witnessing among members of the NFL concerning the anthem is an example of misplaced zeal. The Jews in Paul's day also had a misplaced zeal. Paul himself, upon meeting Christ, had his zeal corrected. The Bible requires us to be zealous but zealous for the right things.
