Jesus explained that the man born blind was not blind from sin at all. Instead, that the work of God would be displayed so that He would receive glory. God, the Creator of all things, has every right to do what He would like with His creation. The most important thing we can do in our lives, is live for the glory of God. Jesus is the light of the World. Jesus works His miracles in the context of obedience. Do we really believe that Jesus can change lives? We were all born in sin and tend to do the wrong things. The heart is deceitfully wicked, but Jesus is able to change lives. He can change us from pride and sloth and make us humble workers. If you are in Christ, you are not who you used to be. The Pharisees had a rule of no spiting on the ground on the Sabbath and yet Jesus not only healed on the Sabbath, but He also spit on the ground. The Pharisees were very angered by the actions of God. What these teachers of the law did not believe, which is true, is that Jesus is the Messiah. The parents of the blind man knew that Jesus is the Christ, but could not admit it for fear of the Jewish leaders. We are in a terrible position if we cannot admit that we are wrong. If you know what is right, do not keep going down the wrong path. Turn from evil and repent. Verse 35 declares that Jesus went looking for the man who received sight. Once Jesus found the man and informed him who He was, the man who received his sight worshiped Jesus. Jesus is God and received the worship of the man. We are unique individuals created by God for His glory. We will never achieve our potential until we yield our lives to Jesus, for His glory, not for our own glory. The blind man was healed by Jesus,
