a. First, as the menorah represent the ministry of Christ as the light of the world, let us seek to know him and make him known. Let us understand that unless we are walking in him, we are walking in darkness.
b. Secondly, as the menorah represents the privilege of the church and of every Christian to shine forth for the Lord Jesus Christ in the world, shall we not make sure that we are exercising this privilege. Shall we not make sure that Christ is heard through preaching and through our witnessing?
c. Thirdly, as the menorah or oil and the light of the menorah point to the work of the Holy Spirit shall we not make sure that we have oil in our lamps. Beloved brethren and children and friends you must be born again.
