If there is strife, it should drive us to our knees. We need to be at peace with God and at peace with one another. God is a peacemaker.
Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness sake - Result - theirs is the kingdom of Heaven
3 qualifications for persecution: 1. It must be for righteousness sake 2. You must be falsely accuse 3. It must be because of Jesus Christ If God has to strip away our material things to make us poor in spirit, to make us mourn over sin, to make us meek, to make us hunger and thirst for righteousness, to make us merciful, to make us pure in heart, to make us seek peace, to bring persecution for the sake of Christ, then so be it!
