Luke 21:5-6;34-38 – Temples Falling and Rising (part 3)– Sermon Outline
Intro: Christ's body is the Temple that the Jews will destroy, yet He will be built up/risen in 3 days, ascend to the Father, present His blood in the true, heavenly Temple, then pour out His Spirit upon His people.
Need: In Christ, the Jewish age & its worship comes to an end, but He raises up heavenly worship and access to God for His people, by His blood, at the true throne of grace in heaven, and makes His people into the Temple of God, having washed us of sin, making us holy, & causing us to indwell God by Him.
Theme: The true beauty of the Lord's Temple is her inner holiness and devotion to God.
