Why, throughout our lives, do we spend so much of our time, energy, thoughts, and finances on things that don't satisfy? God has called us to seek after those things which do satisfy— namely hope in the resurrection! It's a call that's open to all men. If we're willing to seek after him, rather than constantly seeking after things that don't truly satisfy, God offers us a pardon for all our sins and iniquities— no matter how terrible and unforgiving we think they may be.
