God Spoke and Something Happened01 Gen. 1:11-14; 2 Cor. 5:17 Before computers, iPads, cell phones, watches, and even paper and pencil existed, God gave us something to help us keep track of where we are concerning time. If you don't know where you are, you'll never be able to determine where you are going. Seasons let us know when to do what.Without seasons, we become frustrated, because we do things at the wrong time. Doing things at the right time is crucial, therefore seasons are important. We cannot know that change is taking place in our lives unless we have a season. We are certainly living in a changing world. There is nothing so certain and sure as change. When Jesus was here He touched people and changed them. He is still touching people through the new birth. He is making greater changes now than when He was upon the earth. The pastor's greatest joy is to see lost people saved. His second greatest joy is to see souls growing in grace. We should never change our doctrine, because doctrinal truth comes from God's Word and that truth is eternal. We never change our commitment to the principle of teaching and winning people to Christ. Change is on its way. God is not satisfied with leaving us the way he found us… Something powerful is coming and you are going to want to be ready for it when it does.
