Upon hearing Romans 13:1-2 which tell us that we are to submit to the authority that God has placed over us, our first reaction is to jump to the next few verses to find reasons why we shouldn't. However, before we challenge authority, we must first learn what it means to submit. Even when we are called to challenge authority, we must learn to do it in a way that is respectful. The respect that we have for the authority over us most flow from the respect and submission we show to Christ.

Ouch Oh how my flesh hated this message. Ouch. Thank You Voddie for confronting me with scriptural truth and pointing out my sin. Very humbling indeed.

Volume control (to Susan) Listening by headphones often helps with audios that are too low.
Love Voddie's sermons. On a Voddie binge right now, can't get enough!

Great Sermon! Is there any way to make this louder? Can the volume be increased. I have increased as high as I can on my end.
Thank you.

Humbling indeed Again, Christian who truly want to obey our Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ need to hear this. Our society has grossly impacted our Christianity, and yet when we hear the truth set for with grace and power, as we hear it here, we cannot help but respond as the Holy Spirit works and weeds out the pride, pride, pride in our hearts. Thank you!
