THIS SERIES IS NOW COMPLETE. Ecclesiastes means 'Preacher.' Most believe that the Book of Ecclesiastes was written by Solomon, the son of David, king in Jerusalem—-especially since Solomon was the son of David and was king in Jerusalem, as Ecclesiastes 1:1 notes: “The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.” There are, though, scholars that believe someone other than Solomon authored Ecclesiastes. Regardless, the author of Ecclesiastes shows that the fullness of life is found only in the recognition of spiritual things “above the sun.” The book belongs to the “wisdom writings,” along with Job, Psalms, Proverbs, and Song of Solomon, and as such, has great application for everyday life and Christian living. This exposition series of Ecclesiastes is the in-depth type of teaching one might expect to receive while attending a seminary or Bible college. For best use in studying this series, please have your Bible open to the passages read. (This series is complete, and lessons will be uploaded in sequence.)
