Sinai no one could touch the mountain, much less approach a Holy God. At Mt. Zion you are already in His presence. A God that was unapproachable at Mt. Sinai, that brought fear before the people, is the same God that has ushered you into heaven and placed you at the right hand of the Majesty on high. We can approach a Holy God because God made us holy in Christ. We now have the same access to God that Christ has.
