What about elders and ministers today who are in progressively leaning denominations who argue: "I have my church and my presbytery - we are orthodox - we don't endorse what's going on in the general assembly. As long as they don't require us to do anything we don't agree with, we will just hang around."? This is not an option. People were saying this in Machen's day.
