Growing in the grace of God will produce brotherly kindness in the believer. Not just normal, run-of-the-mill kindness, but "brotherly" kindness. That's the type of kindness shown to someone you dearly love. This kindness cannot be feigned and hypocritical. That would be detected immediately by the one receiving the kindness. Brotherly kindness requires a sincere heart and the love of God shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Ghost. This is what the grace of God does in a the life of a believer.
