God does not called the qualified; he qualifies the called. It is an important distinction. We are called to (1) salvation and then (2) work for him--not based on our current qualifications. Rather, after our obedience will he provide the needed qualifications. No on in sculptures was called because of their qualifications--except Jesus Christ who was, and is, and will be both qualified and called!
