Have you ever really been discouraged? The Psalmist in Psalm 77 knew a little of what it was to be discouraged. He wrote in verses 2-3, "In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord. My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing; my soul refused to be comforted. I remembered God, and was troubled; I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed Selah." Even God's choicest servants need comfort and encouragement at times. When we find the Apostle Paul in Corinth in Acts 18, he was discouraged and needed of encouragement. Our Lord encourages him with a vision that includes two commands and two promises. I. Two Commands II. Two Promises
