This expository sermon is based on John's account of the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. After explaining what happened, Dr. Felker explains the meaning of what happened. Jesus accepted the acknowledgement of the crowd that He is indeed the promised Messiah, the One sent to save and rule on David's throne. Yet He also showed that He first came to suffer and die for our sins, and that He also came to save Gentiles as well. This text concludes with a strong challenge by Jesus to follow His example of dying to self and worldly desires.
