Too many sermons seem to be carefully and cleverly crafted to bolster the speaker's own particular, or his denomination's opinions, and far too few preachers are prepared to simply examine and teach the Scripture unbiasedly. The end result of preaching should be that God's word is brought forth, but much that takes place amongst the churches revolves around the names of men, their own systems of belief and practice, and all of this steers the sheep away from the headship of Christ in His Church, and towards
reliance on a man or a system, structure, or hierarchy; - whatever is directly attributed to men, is subtracted from God!
