Christians who differ in smaller matters should tolerate one another because they are agreed on the major matters. If you differ from one another, and are not of the same mind on small matters, you must not judge one another. However if you are not growing and refuse instruction you will never unify around each other. Genuine Christianity is a matter of adhering to basic principles. The Bible must be studied in its entirety. If by the light of the Holy Spirit these principles are consistently applied, then spiritual growth will follow. God will give further light to anyone who walks by the light already given. Don’t get sidetracked by considering that spiritual growth is only for some and not all. We must move beyond the “milk” stage and steadily grow toward the “meat” stage.
