In a day of tremendous turmoil, and in a day when the seemingly caring phrase of "Black Lives Matter", brother Steve Baloga brought a message on loving our neighbor as ourselves. The passage from which he preached from was Luke 10:25-37; a familiar passage on the good Samaritan. Did the good Samaritan seem to care about what skin color the "certain man" had? Did the good Samaritan make sure of the "certain man's" nationality before he helped him? Of course not! The very last thing the Lord is recorded saying is a commandment for believers to, "Go, and do thou likewise." Corrupt police officers should be brought to justice and drug dealing thugs should also be brought to justice, but loving our neighbor seems to mean that we are to set out differences aside to care and love others around us. Does this mean that we are to love evil or love our adversary, the Satan? Of course not. Brother Steve taught how to know who is your neighbor and who is not, and if not, how to manage them!
