We who are free are born of the Spirit of God. We are of the spiritual, heavenly Jerusalem. Just as Isaac was the child of promise, "born of the free woman ,Sarah, not of the "bond woman," Hagar, we, as Christians, are children of the promise and citizens of heaven. We are no longer slaves to the law. The law is no longer obligatory for the believer, but that does not mean we can't learn from it's example, 1 Timothy 1:8. Stand firm in the Gospel!
