When this happens, the Lord intervenes, as the 'Only Sovereign One', who should not be prided against. The Lord asserted to Jeremiah the Prophet in the same breath that, "…The man who trusts in mankind, who makes human flesh his strength and turns his heart from the LORD is cursed…" – Jer. 17v5. Therefore, let's take heed.
