For Jon, the central focus of ministry in bush Alaska has always been Jesus Christ, and Him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2). Since he has not often been accused of being the most eloquent or polished speaker to ascend the pulpit, that souls were edified, and even saved, despite his stammering lips was evidence of the supernatural work of God's sovereign grace.
