Such peace is not yet found on earth, but we wait for it as we await the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring God's shalom to the earth.
As we await our inheritance of universal and absolute harmony, health, happiness and prosperity, we have a foretaste in the Holy Spirit who is the deposit and first installment of our still future inheritance. Through his living in us we taste the powers of the coming age in the here and now and enjoy God's peace as we pray and trust God's promises.
