Live An Incredible Life By Being Filled With The Holy Spirit (FTF-06)
Today, we continue with Pastor Joh n Samuel Barnett 's lesson of the role of the Holy Spirit in our spiritual walk. We are called, as believers in Christ, to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Barnett goes over the particular command in God's Word. For what reason? To live an incredible life. Pause for just a second and realize what that means. Not only has God chosen a particular people and called them to Himself. Not only has He called you from darkness to life. Not only had He provided the means to be saved (through Jesus Christ). Not only all that and more - but He has given you the ability to choose to live contrary to your inclined nature - your sin nature.
Christians are the only people that are given the true ability to freely choose which direction to take. Those in Adam cannot choose anything other than hating God and living in opposition to Him. But those who are in Christ are call to live the incredible life, the unique life - a life that is full of the Spirit and given to do great things. Choose to live this type of life today in honor of Him who gives.
